DPBHL All-StarThe Game we've all been waiting for. For years the debate has always arisen who would win a showdown between the best of the Premier or the best of Tier 2. Well the wait is over as the 2015 All-Star edition will end this debate as 40 of the top players in the league will face off against each other with the ultimate bragging rights on the line.

The teams will be led by a coaching staff that is topped by some of the brightest names in game today. The Premier side will be coached by 2014 OBHA Coaches of the Year Angelo Gaetano and Pat Ventullo of the North York Hitmen. Their assistants will come from the Barrie Flyers Darryl Horlock and Toronto Thunder Jason Mallais. On the other bench the 2014 Fall Champions The Big Bastone head master Mario Ventullo will lead the ship with Ricky Ventresca of the Toronto Hitmen and Remo Settimo of the Vaughan Sharks will assist behind the bench.

The teams will be a combination of returning All-Stars and a slew of first timers ready to hit the big stage. The Premier All-Stars will be led by the two time Premier Champions North York Hitmen which will have 7 members representing. Dave Clark, Jonathan Pulicicchio, Victor Azevedo, Danny Rocha, Peter Bello, Tyson Dileo and Joe Meleca. The Toronto Thunder will add the veteran stability and leadership to the team as Massimo Principe, Paul Duarte, Jeff Wilson, Chris Monaghan and new addition Johnny Nguyen will all suit up in the Day of Stars. The Barrie Flyers will make the trip south to the Hangar on January 24th and representing them will be Brian McNellan, Randy Kelly, Cory Wick, Alan Henderson and Tyler Roache. The youthful Vaughan Red Wings will add a dash of speed and agility with Sam Renda, Frankie Grisonich, Brian Rodrigues, Philip Ciarabellini and Robbie Mentis making the squad.

Ready to do battle versus the Premier Stars is a group that could beat any team thrown against them. The Fall Champions Big Bastone will send Jeff Smith, Dayton Sopha, Ralph Pellicori, Marc Gardiman and Dorvin Jordan. Fall Top Forward Marcel Mallais will bring along his North York Leafs teammates Shawn Hannon, Joe Gatti and Rui Martins. Jantha HC will be represented by the brother act of JC and JK Gill. The Nordiques will have a strong influence as Kal Kakish, Trent Gaudon, Mike D'Arpino, Chris Manalis and Jerry Di Iorio makng his All-Star debut. Vaughan Shark sniper Frankie Giustini and former All-Star Captain Jason Arruda will bolster an already lethal lineup and veteran defender Joe Dias will join his Shark teammates in the Mid-Winter Classic. The Toronto Hitmen who have reached two of the last DP Tier 2 finals will be present with Luigi Caruso, Aadil Patel, Sam Riggi and MVP Defencemen from the Fall season Ago Curtosi.

2015 for certain will be our biggest and most entertaining Celebration to date. Along with the Premier vs. Tier 2 game we will have a Masters vs. Tier 3 showdown and for the first time in All-Star Day history we will hold a Tier 4 (Weekend) vs. Tier 4 (Weekday) .

We look forward to seeing you all there for a day of fun and excitement at the greatest spectacle the Ball Hockey community looks forward to every year the 2015 All Star Day. An experience you won't soon forget. More details to follow in the coming days.
