Scoring Champion
For the first time in Downsview Park Ball Hockey history the Premier season had a tie for the leading scorer of the regular season. Principe held the title heading in to the Express last game of the season where Giustini tallied five points to draw even with Principe for the division lead. Congratulations to both players on an incredible season.

Most Valuable Forward
With both Principe and Giustini having the dominating seasons they did offensively the decision to choose one over the other was nearly impossible. Both these individuals have been selected as the Most Valuable Forwards for the Fall/Winter 2012 season. Giustini and Principe both led the League and their clubs in scoring and are vital pieces to their clubs success.

Most Valuable Goaltender
From the Brampton Express the Most Valuable Goaltender of the season was David DiGironimo. David’s numbers spoke for themselves. A league leading 13 wins, a GAA of 1.40, a save percentage of .900 and 2 shutouts put Dave at the top of the class for goaltenders. Dave has now won consecutive MVP Goaltender of the year awards adding to his long list of credentials.

Most Valuable Defencemen
This season the top defencemen goes to Rick DaPonte from the Toronto Thunder. This forward turned defencemen finished sixth in league scoring firing 9 goals and 9 assists for 18 points from the back end. Ricky’s size and speed also make him a difficult defender to beat in the defensive zone.

Rookie Of The Year
Making the jump to Premier is a difficult transition for many. This fast as lightning forward didn’t miss a beat in the jump to top division. Sammy Renda from the Vaughan Red Wings has earned the Rookie of the Year award. Finishing third in league scoring Sam recorded an astonishing 20 points in his inaugural Premier season only six points behind perennial All-Stars Principe and Giustini, quite a feat for this young sniper who has bright future ahead of him.

Coach/Manager Of The Year
The top coach for the 2012 Fall season is Marcel Vieira from the Metro Orangemen. Marcel overcame adversity to lead his team to fifth place in the Premier division. With the division’s lowest scoring team, coaching decisions were vital in the clubs success .Finishing with an 8-6-2 record the Orangemen improved from eleventh place in the Summer season, quite a jump up the standings for this young Orangemen team.
