A little more about Kellie:
I am 26 years old and I am from Brampton. For a living I am a Program Specialist for and adult special needs day program. I am also a cosmetician/skin care specialist and my favourite job is being a referee!

I was born into a family of hockey players so it's easy to say that hockey is in my blood! Growing up hockey was all that mattered. Whether it was practice, playing, watching or reffing , it was where I wanted to be. Sadly, after a slew of concussions in 2012, playing ice and ball hockey was no longer an option for me and that's where my passion truly switched over to officiating. It was a way for me to stay a part of the game that I love and continue to grow as a person in a diffident role.

In 2013 I was selected to be a part of the Elite Officiating Crew and have never looked back! I am beyond grateful and extremely thankful for all the opportunities that have come my way and I will continue to strive to be the best official and person I can be.

Eric has been officiating for 19 years and is a Level 5 Hockey Canada Official working in the OUA, Sr. AAA, Jr. A, B and C. He is also a supervisor, referee in chief, scheduler and has officiated in many Provincial and Regional Championships. He has been officiating in ball hockey for 6 years with many accomplishments. Provincially he has been an instructor with the OBHF Referee Program, member of the technical committee and officiated in multiple OBHF Provincials Championships. He is currently officiating in our Premier division and has been a staple in our finals.

More about Eric:
Sexual health nurse in Simcoe. Married to Emma, my biggest supporter, without her support none of what I’ve done is possible. She knows more about officiating than most. She often attends games and gives me feedback about calls and non calls, positioning, body language, etc. She’s one of the greatest coaches I’ve had. Likewise my father got me into refereeing. He is always in my corner challenging me to be better and to keep working on my craft. I owe a lot of how I work out there, how I see the game, how I carry myself...I owe that to his teaching.
