Another memorable All-Star Day is in the books! We had three great games.

The players skill was on full display and the crowd was entertained all afternoon long. We would like to thank all the players, coaches, family and friends who joined us. Many hours are spent to get ready for this day but it was all worth it. It was great to see all the smiles on the players faces as we celebrated our great sport!

We would like to thank our sponsors for their generous contributions. Sergio and Sebastian from 45 Productions, Peter from First Line Promotional. And of course the staff, Adrian and Dennis who did a fantastic job officiating, Carlos our timekeeper, Frank our wily vet and Peter and Pino. Without all of them this could not be possible. We hope you all enjoyed All-Star Day 2017 and we can't wait to prepare for All-Star Day 2018.

A highlight video and pictures will be posted soon. For anyone interested in the final scores here are the results.

Game: Tier 3 All-Stars Tier 4 All-Stars 2
This was a first for the DPBHL All Star Day. We gave the Tier 4 All Stars a huge task in trying to defeat the Tier 3 All Stars. The game was much closer than the final score. Tier 4 All Stars pressed right to the final buzzer. But the Tier 3's were too tough a team to dismantle. Vince D'Elia led the way with 2 goals and 2 assists and was named Game MVP for the Tier 3 squad. Ryan Tremmel also netted a hatrick. Daniel Ascenzi and Alex Guizzetti replied for the Tier 4 All Stars. Anthony Mohi who was stellar on the blueline and had many scoring opportunities on the offensive side of the ball was named Tier 4 All Stars Game MVP.

Shootout: Tier 4 All-Stars 2 Tier 3 All-Stars 1
The Tier 4 All Stars would extract a measure of revenge as Alton Amaral and Randeep Singh would score in the shootout. Jeff Gallant would reply for the Tier 3 All Stars.

Game: Premier Young Stars 6  Premier Veterans 5 SO
This was a game for the ages and may go down as our greatest All Star Game to date. The players were dialed in. We had four lead changes and a plethora of chances. The goalies were fantastic. There were no gimmes. After regulation this game was knotted at 5. We played a very entertaining 10 minutes of 4 on 4 sudden death overtime. But this game was not decided. So as accustomed we went to a shootout but this time it was for all the bragging rights. And after 6 shooters we were still tied. So onto sudden death shootout. And finally with their 10th shooter the Premier Young Stars Eric Camara would win it.

With 1 goal and 1 assist Ricardo Pires would be named the Premier Veterans Game MVP. He was a force all game. JC Gill would be named Premier Young Stars Game MVP. He finished with 1 goal and 1 assist and his speed was a thorn to the Veterans defenders all afternoon.

Game: Tier 2 Young Stars 6  Tier 2 Veterans 4
Another entertaining game went to the wire. The Young Stars would jump out to a 2-0 lead and take that to the intermission. It was short lived as the Veterans would fire 3 in the first 4 minutes of the second but the Young Stars would respond. The teams would exchange goals midway through the frame. Jeff Smith's 2nd of the game with just over a minute remaining would be the game winner as the Young Stars defeat the Veterans 6-4. Smith with 2 goals and 1 assist would be named Tier 2 Young Stars Game MVP. Anthony Quattrociocchi With 2 goals for the Veterans would be named their Game MVP.

Shootout: Tier 2 Young Stars 1  Tier 2 Veterans 0
The only sweep of the day went to the Tier 2 Young Stars as Jaisen Gill would score the only goal in the shootout.

Thanks again to all and see you at #dpasd18
